To image and to create what we image is to create something of authentic value. In my furniture design planning authenticity with enduring aesthetic appeal and service is the goal.  I like to put the emphasis on the wood’s natural grain and color.  Conceptual imagery is an important part of this process. As a result computer technology has been as useful a tool as my band saw or orbital sander.  But technology for all its wonders isn't a substitute for the human spirit which adds a whole set of unique characteristics not found in production work. That’s why I’ve chosen to work with one piece at a time.  It’s best for maintaining a high standard and to express the kind of individualism only found in a handcrafted piece.  I hope you enjoy your visit.  Thanks for stopping in!
